The son of an Afghan National Police member stands in the window of a bombed out building at Tarnak Farms, a former Al-Qaeda terrorist training camp, Jan. 11, 2009, Kandahar, Afghanistan. Tarnak Farms was bombed at the beginning of the overseas contingency operations, and now the ANP work in partnership with U.S. Forces guarding what’s left of the Tarnak structures to keep Al-Qaeda from setting up terrorist operations in the remains of the bombed-out buildings.
