Send us your original photos and compete for the chance to win one of FIVE digital cameras! The public will be asked to choose a winner in one of the following four categories, with a panel of judges selecting an overall winner from the top three in all categories.

Entering the contest is easy! Just send an email to afghanistanmatters@gmail.com with the following:
- Your photo (in highest resolution – 1600 pixels in its longest dimension)
- The category in which you wish to compete
- A short caption describing the photo
- Your name, nationality and contact information
- Whether or not you agree to your name and nationality being displayed with the photo
- The statement “I have read and agree with the Official Contest Rules”
When your photo is accepted as a qualified entry, it will appear on this web site. Then you can encourage others to vote for it!
Please ensure the subjects of your photos have given permission for you to photograph them. In addition, avoid photographing any sensitive locations. For further details, view the Official Contest Rules.
